Patrice Moyes Archibald

Wow, 40 years. It just seems like yesterday that I told my brother Jerry I would come to work for him in Phoenix, but I said I could only stay two weeks because it was Spring Break from college.

Well, 10 years, a marriage, divorce and 2 kids later, I left Phoenix just in time to attend our 10-year reunion and moved home to Utah.
.
In 1995, a close friend’s son tried to line me up with his boss and told me his name was Jeff Archibald. I told him that I had gone to school with Jeff and yes, I would go out with him. We dated for two short months and were married in November, 1995.
This marriage came to an end much, much to soon. On December 1st, a few days after we had celebrated our 12th anniversary at the Timbermine, he died suddenly of a massive heart attack while snow blowing our walks. The night of our anniversary he sat across from me and told me how much he loved and appreciated me and thanked me ‘for the wild ride.’ Little did I realize that three days later he would be gone.

I have had a very blessed life in spite of my loss of Jeff. Everyone always kids me about having gypsy blood running through my veins because I love to travel and go every chance I get. I have also been very blessed with wonderful kids, grandkids and friends.

My daughter, Michelle is the mom of three children, Lacey (18), Chance (14), and Kaden (13). In 2004 she married Billy Raymond, a dad of three, Kayla (15), Whitney (13) and Nicole (9) and together they are like the Brady Bunch. They live in Farr West.

My son, Chad, lives in Anthem, Arizona with his wife, Mary and three children, Ben (6), Kate (4) and Ella (1).

I am so looking forward to this reunion to get caught up with everyone,
